Why is your report cheaper than Carfax?
Because we purchase reports in bulk directly, so you don't have to pay full price for the same official data.
Is the data the same as Carfax, and is it current?
Yes — every report pulls live, real-time data directly from Carfax at the moment you request it. It's the exact same official data, not a cached or delayed copy.
What is included in a Vehicle History Report?
Each report covers accident history, title records, reported mileage/odometer readings, open safety recalls, an estimated market value, full vehicle specs, and more — everything you need to check a car before buying.
What if my VIN isn't found?
If we can't generate a report for your VIN, no report credit is used and your order stays retryable — just try again in a moment. If it still doesn't work, contact support and we'll get it sorted for you.
Do I need an account to buy a report?
No — you can check out as a guest and choose to download your report or have it emailed to you. Creating a free account lets you save reports to your history and track vehicles in your Car Notebook.
Do my credits expire?
No. Report and Spot Finder credits do not expire — they stay in your account until you use them.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes — all payments are processed through Stripe, a leading payment processor used by millions of businesses. We never see or store your full card number.
